[ASOG] Ancient Society of Gentlemen

Our origins are humble and date back to the early days of the Gallente Republic as a social club. For centuries the corporation, in one form or another, has operated under the radar of the alliances and larger corporations. We have formed and re-formed many times, always keeping that low profile. Now that times are so volatile, it is time to make our presents known once again, but still keeping under the radar. We stand for honor, honesty, loyalty and comradery. We are more of a club than a corporation in that we pool resources to make the whole more than the parts. Contrary to what the name may say, we do not and have never discriminated against females.

We have a 10% tax on mission running and monthly dues to cover corporate expenses. Anything the membership gives above the tax and dues goes toward expansion of the corporate holdings. When the coffers are full, the monthly dues may be reduced/ suspended or a dividend paid to all stock holders.

As we are a loosely organized corporation, the membership is free to do almost anything they want with few restrictions. All members are requested to run at least one agent mission a week toward Gallente faction standings and piracy/thief are forbidden. The reason for these restrictions are: the corporation needs standing to better help the membership, so mission running is necessary, piracy/thief goes against our founding principles so are forbidden.

The organizational setup is basically parliamentary. We have a CEO, board of directors and the membership. All members have a voice but only stockholders may vote.

We are a close, tight-knit group.
