[POM6] Combatants of Evil

In the distant future, when humanity had conquered the galaxy, a corporation of space mercenaries called "Combatants of Evil" emerged. They offered their services to anyone willing to pay, regardless of moral considerations. Their motto: "Power for money."

The "Combatants of Evil" team was made up of the best fighters, former soldiers, and bounty hunters, ready to take on the most complex and dangerous assignments. Their leader was the mysterious Captain Zane, who was known for his cool-headedness and ability to find solutions to any situation.

One day, an influential client — a high-profile businessman — approached them with an offer to eliminate a competitor who threatened his empire. He promised an astronomical reward for completing the task. Although many team members were skeptical, no one could ignore the promise of gold and glory.

The mercenaries set off for the planet Gelos, where their target was hiding. However, during the mission, they discover that this businessman was not just a competitor but the leader of a rebel group fighting against the tyranny of the local ruler. The mercenaries are faced with a choice: finish the contract and eliminate innocent people, or rise up against the system they serve.

Some of them, including the pilot Lian, begin to question their choice. In conversations with the locals, they learn about the suffering and oppression the people endure. This forces them to rethink their actions and whether they truly want to be part of "Combatants of Evil."

Conflict within the team intensifies. Lian and several other mercenaries decide to escape and help the rebels. Together, they devise a plan to destroy the ruler’s base and rescue the hostages. In the final battle against the government forces, the mercenaries face tremendous losses. However, thanks to their cunning and bravery, they win. After the battle, the remaining members of the team realize that true strength lies not in money, but in freedom and justice.

In the end, the corporation suffers enormous losses in its ranks. Unfortunately, cloning and consciousness transfer had not yet been invented, so those who perished could not be brought back. But they will always be remembered as part of the corporation, a reminder of what the newcomers will fight for.

Now, they face a new goal: to change their reputation and use their skills to fight for those who cannot defend themselves. "Combatants of Evil" transforms into a rebel squad, ready to fight against the evil that once employed them.
