St August

The story of a name is the same as the story of a destiny. Born into a minor-noble family on the Amarrian homworld of Amarr Prime. Early in his youth, though properly schooled, he rebelled against God and Emperor and took up a life of wreckless abandon with Calderi smugglers. After nine years of living this way he was summoned back to his homeworld to participate in a rite of succession. His immediate friends in the smuggling ring were already questioning their way of life, feeling an itch of the burning love of God pierce back into their souls. When they got to the planet they touched down at the site of an old abandoned basilica on the old continent. Something St. August still cannot explain moved him to rummage around beneath the old altar. Inside was a find of unknowable importance. Contained within were very old relics and manuscripts, older than beyond imagination. Closer inspection was difficult, all that could be made out was the phrase "---- thy Lord thy God, follow me -----"
