The first update to Catalyst is here, bringing Access Control List restrictions to Freelance Jobs.

This allows project creators to decide who can and cannot see the listed job.

Want to blacklist your rival alliance? Done.

Want to make sure only members of a certain corporation see your posting? You got it.

Want to put out a hit on a rival capsuleer or corporation and make sure the target remains unaware? Mum’s the word.

A new Freelancing skill has also been added, allowing capsuleers to accept more than three Freelance Jobs at a time. Explore available Freelance Jobs via the AIR Opportunities interface.

At the same time, the costs associated with Freelance Jobs have been reduced. The duration fee is down by 25%, and the Broadcasting Fee is being cut by a third.

R-AG7W: The Last Splash

Last time we checked in, the Pandemic Horde Keepstar in R-AG7W was sitting under one of the most impressive bubble camps we’ve seen in a while. Since then, the bubblebath reached its inevitable conclusion as the Keepstar finally went down. Warlock Industries was on-site for the final moments and captured the whole thing. If you’re looking for a recap of the atmosphere, the bubbles and the explosion, this video is well worth the watch:

And now? With Pandemic Horde leaving the region and The Imperium packing up after their deployment, the gates have opened and sovereignty in the Dronelands is up for grabs.

A Splash of Paint

While one Keepstar met a fiery end, another one got given a fresh new skin. Watson Crick has been busy giving the miniature structures from the War For New Eden board game a nice coat of paint.

Industry 101

The next highlight is for capsuleers who prefer spreadsheets over causing explosions. Bill Paid released a great video for players looking to dip their toes into industry. Armed with years of experience teaching newbros the ropes, he breaks down the most common roadblocks that you might come across when starting out.

From the quiet hum of industry, let’s jump back into the action. Argrathar from No Vacancies. shared a great battle recording on his YouTube channel, capturing a brawl between No Vacancies. and L A Z E R H A W K S that delivered plenty of explosions.

Player Meets Around The World

Last weekend was a busy one, with two player meets happening on opposite sides of the Atlantic. Both EVE North in Toronto and EVE Amsterdam in, well.. Amsterdam, brought players together to swap stories in real life EVE North delivered its usual cozy vibes, with players gathering for a relaxed evening with a drink or two. EVE Amsterdam, meanwhile, had a packed schedule with presentations, fleets and workshops. Thanks to Randolph Vangor and Amiomia for organizing these meet ups!

From a Spark to an Inferno

Mysterious hyperspace fractures tear open across New Eden, revealing volatile asteroids, rich in prismaticite, an erratic ore that refines into different minerals.

Mining gets faster, more rewarding and dynamic, with critical mining hits, faster mining cycles, new in-space UI overlays, and many more mining enhancements. The new mining destroyer, the Pioneer, is a perfect middle ground between a mining frigate and mining barges and is available in three different variations. The new epic arc introduces the new updates and rewards you with your very own Pioneer!

Lead your fleet further afield and conquer uncharted territory with the Odysseus, a powerful new exploration command ship. Chart routes, locate resources and plan your expeditions with the new 2D map. Furthermore, a version of the New Eden map is now also available online.

Welcome back, everyone, to the Community Beat! So much has happened since the last installment: CSM elections are coming to a close, the Tuskers have defeated Meta Reloaded to win Alliance Tournament XXI, and a ton of in-game and in-space events. So let’s get to it!

Tournament Champions!

The Tuskers Co have repeated as Alliance Tournament champions! Tuskers win their third Alliance Tournament and are just the third team to ever repeat as champions. If you didn’t consider them tournament royalty before, there’s no doubting it now. The Tuskers didn’t drop a single match until the finals against the Cinderella story of the tournament, Meta Reloaded.

The Meta Reloaded team surprised many, coming seemingly out of nowhere. While some of the pilots had competed in the AT before, some were completely new to the scene. And what a debut! Coming in 2nd place is an incredible feat.

The AT weekend is one of our favorites here at CCP, hosted right in the middle of our studio here in Reykjavik. But a close second is all the after-action reports from the teams talking about their AT runs, what went into them, and fun stories that they picked up along the way. Here are a few that you should absolutely check out.

EVE Guides: The 2025 FW Yearbook

PvP can be very intimidating and it’s hard to know how to start and how to improve. Luckily, for the last 12 years T Sky has been literally writing the book on just how to do it, updating each iteration with the current meta, trends, and tactics that you can expect in the FW warzone. Just this week he released the updated version for 2025.

“The ultimate goal of the Yearbook is to show a path for meaningful solo PvP in Faction Warfare. This book should motivate newcomers to try solo PvP and improve results for experienced players”

We love the comprehensive-yet-approachable format he’s mastered in this series, and can’t wait to try a few things out ourselves.

A Nomadic Odyssey!

The Catalyst expansion is just around the corner, coming out on 18 November. With it comes the Odysseus, a new addition to the Sisters of EVE line with a ton to offer for those who love exploration. The Bubblebath of R-AG7W

Earlier in the week Pandemic Horde announced that they would be leaving the PanFam coalition, throwing the entire cluster (and the EVE subreddit) into chaos. The news came as a shock to everyone, triggering a seismic shift in the nullsec political climate. Within an hour of the news breaking, The Imperium – longtime enemies of PanFam - rushed deep into PanFam territory to camp their staging system. There are tons of moving parts to this, but if you want to get caught up and watch the ensuing explosions, Warlock Industries has been covering the events daily.

The Monthly Economic Report for October 2025 is now available!

MER

• Minor bug fixes around labels on various plots.
• There’s a discrepancy between 9_sinks_and_faucets and 9b_money_supply.png, this is due to two separate data-source for each plot. We’re working to rectify this data and having a unified data-source. This will take some time.

Economic Trends

• There has been a significant increase in commodities faucets due to the Crimson Harvest event.
• MPI continues to fall.

The Crimson Harvest reaches its blood-ridden pinnacle, as the clash between the Blood Raiders and the Order of St. Tetrimon intensifies. So far, blood has reigned all over New Eden, as capsuleers have taken on a host of new and returning activities for great rewards.

As of today, site distribution across all of New Eden has expanded, with Class 3 Biocybernetic Incident sites now surfacing in highsec. Tetrimon Frontline Base and Dark Blood Gauntlet sites can now also be found in the lowsec constellations of Semou, Jayal, and Hed.

Battle-hardened capsuleers will find no shortage of foes or rewards.

New Rewards, New Power

The seasonal reward track has been extended, bringing new items and a final reward crate containing at least a blueprint for any available Blood Raider ship – with the most fortunate capsuleers landing the fabled Dagon or Molok. Keep unlocking rewards on the challenge track to claim it before the Harvest ends at 11:00 UTC on 4 November.

The Deathglow Remnant SKINs return as standout prizes, attainable both through daily login rewards and along the seasonal track. Other daily rewards include Skill Points, as well as SKINR design elements to forge your own blood-soaked aesthetic.

In celebration of this grand finale, the Cruor and Ashimmu have received a ship balance pass. Not a temporary boost, but a permanent evolution, reflecting their Blood Raider legacy.
