Save 20% on PLEX + Free Hrada-Oki SKINs

Capsuleer,

Now is the time to stock up on PLEX at a 20% discount, and get amazing Hrada-Oki Offender SKINs for free.

The Hrada-Oki Offender line is for capsuleers who think “military surplus” looks better after a few questionable modifications. These Spikey Boys™ bring a rough, backwater war-convoy vibe with abstract camo, caravan markings, battle-scarred hulls, and other improvised upgrades. In flight, the ships come alive with custom lighting that reacts to kills, warp, and docking, along with speed bars and heat-reactive attachments that respond to how hard you’re pushing them. Basically: loud, mean, improvised, and probably not Concord-certified.

Until 25 July, you can get these deals:

Operation Avalon: FAQ

Operation Avalon: FAQ

One Universe. One War. Two Ways to Fight.

From 7–20 July, capsuleers join the fight in Operation Avalon, a limited-time World Event spanning both EVE Online and EVE Vanguard.

Capsuleers: The war below has reached the stars.

As conflicts unfold in the world beneath you, new opportunities emerge from the actions of renegade warclones in their mission to build Avalon: a haven beyond the reach of New Eden’s empires….

From 7–20 July, reap rewards in EVE Online as you fight, hack and salvage through lucrative sites across New Eden. Hunt valuable AEGIS squalls carrying intel and dangerous secrets. Destroy them for immediate rewards or track them to hidden locations where greater riches, and greater dangers, await. Recover intelligence tied to the mysterious Project Nemesis, then exchange Vanguard Resonant Cyphers to earn valuable rewards while supporting your chosen empire's claim to the Avalon. Whether you choose immediate profit or pursue greater risks by tracking haulers to hidden locations, every action helps move the conflict forward.

Beyond the hunt for convoys, Avalon Investigations have begun appearing across New Eden, offering combat, hacking, and salvaging opportunities allowing capsuleers to test their mettle while advancing their empire's influence.

Throughout the event you can also earn a host of exclusive rewards, including a new faction damage control, the Breach Control, which offers resists like a damage control but can also be activated to reduce Breacher pod damage. Additionally, be on the lookout for a new officer Inertial Stabilizer module, a special Mordu's Legion drone, skill points, volatile boosters, SKINR components, Arkombine Arisen SKINs, and an exclusive Vanguard themed character background.

Meanwhile, the war continues planet-side in EVE Vanguard, where Operation Avalon introduces the all-new Lost Convoy battlefield, expanded weaponry, redesigned extraction gameplay, and the next chapter in the Vanguard's fight for survival.

The hunt is on!

One universe // One war.

Operation Avalon Event FAQ

When does Operation Avalon begin and end?

Operation Avalon runs from 7 July until downtime on 20 July (UTC).

Is EVE Vanguard available to all players?

Yes, Operation Avalon is open to ALL players, regardless of your clone status in EVE Online or how good your aim is. This is the best time to jump in and play EVE Vanguard during Open Alpha and experience the latest weapons and extraction gameplay. You can access this through the EVE launcher (see the Vanguard tab to the left) or by requesting access through Steam here: EVE Vanguard on Steam

Proteus-Hunting2 1920x1080

How does the event work?

Operation Avalon is a limited-time World Event across both EVE Online and EVE Vanguard. As warclones complete enough expeditions in EVE Vanguard, these will trigger the appearance of AEGIS squalls and lucrative sites in EVE Online for combat, hacking and salvaging.

AvalonInvestigationsMap

Progress through these sites to earn exclusive rewards and influence which empire strengthens its claim to Avalon; the future home of the Vanguard. Standard versions of these sites are also available throughout New Eden: AEGIS Joint Operations Center, Flotilla Observation Outpost, and Upwell Wreckage. Each will produce influence in a system, and when that reaches 100% a Nemesis Command Outpost will appear in the system with extra rewards!

I haven't participated in an event like this in some time, what's changed since the last World Event, Operation Nemesis?

A lot has changed across both experiences, whether you’re looking to play as a warclone or a capsuleer. In EVE Vanguard, look out for the all-new Lost Convoy battlefield, rebuilt gunplay and advanced weaponry including the new SMG, Shrapnel Cannon, Laser DMR and Beam Rifle, and a completely redesigned looting and extraction experience.

In EVE, Operation Avalon boasts new, powerful rewards including the Breach Control, which can be activated to reduce Breacher pod damage and Vanguard-themed Mordu's Legion Aralez drones. There are a variety of activities across empire-controlled space , which includes combat, hacking, and salvaging sites. There are also more challenging and rewarding variants of these located at Points of Interest triggered by the Vanguard warclones.

Like Operation Nemesis, this is another demonstration of New Eden world-building where Vanguard activity on the ground can spawn convoys in EVE Online.

Proteus-Hunting1 1920x1080

I haven’t played EVE Online before. Will I be able to participate in this event if I choose to play EVE Vanguard only? And alternatively, if I only want to play EVE Online?

Yes, you’ll be able to participate in both games independently. However, if this is your first time playing EVE Online, please note that some of the content requires advanced skills such as combat scanning. Make sure to train and skill-up before you undock!

I’m a new or returning player, how can I access Operation Avalon?

You'll automatically be participating when you log back in! To find the content, consult your map in-game to identify the location of AEGIS squalls. Track them down as they lead you to lucrative sites. For more general information on asset recovery or other returning player questions, go here: Return to EVE Online | Recover Your Account & Download the Client

Odysseus 1920x1080

I’ve looted the hauler and I have recovered Vanguard Resonant Cyphers, where do I find the item traders to exchange them?

You'll be able to find Item traders in all parts of empire space: High Sec, Low sec and some parts of null-sec, too.

  • Systems:

    • Amarr

    • New Caldari

    • Dodixie

    • Rens

    • Sifilar

    • Kinakka

    • Ostingele

    • Hadozeko

    • Poitot

    • SL-YBS

Aralez 1920x1080

What can I do during Operation Avalon?

During the event you can:

  • Hunt roaming haulers for immediate rewards or play a more patient game and follow them to hidden locations offering greater challenges and rewards.

  • Complete event sites to increase influence across systems and progress the reward tracks for salvaging, combat or hacking.

  • Recover intelligence tied to Project Nemesis.

  • Collect Vanguard Resonant Cyphers after defeating haulers and exchange them for valuable rewards within your empire's space.

  • Complete event objectives and claim daily login rewards.

  • Participate in the latest EVE Vanguard Alpha playtest where you deploy planet-side, engage Mordu’s Legion, risk everything, and extract what you can against the clock.

What are Vanguard Resonant Cyphers?

Vanguard Resonant Cyphers are special event items recovered during Operation Avalon. They can be exchanged at designated item traders for valuable loot, powerful components, and other rewards while contributing to your empire's efforts during the event.

How does my participation in EVE Online affect the story of Vanguard warclones?

As you exchange Vanguard Resonant Cyphers with item traders in your chosen empire’s space, this will demonstrate your empire's willingness to work with the Vanguard in secret. The empire with the most trades will be the first place for the Avalon to take uprefuge after the event. Your participation directly shapes the outcome of the event.

Breached-PodModule-Action1 1920x1080

What rewards can I earn in EVE Online?

Capsuleers can earn a variety of exclusive rewards throughout Operation Avalon, including:

  • Breach Control

  • Lorharyth’s Modified Inertial Stabilizer – a brand new Officer variant of an Inertial Stabilizer

  • Volatile boosters – limited time and extremely short-duration boosters with powerful effects

  • Mordu's Legion Aralez drones

  • Skill Points

  • Implants

  • Vanguard-themed character background

  • New SKINs and SKINR components

  • Arkombine Arisen reward crates

  • Daily Login rewards

  • Twitch Drops from our official FenrisCreations channel

Do I need to play both EVE Online and EVE Vanguard?

No. Operation Avalon offers plenty to experience in both games, but you can participate in either experience independently. While you can only earn rewards in EVE Online for this event, playing across both fronts offers additional opportunities to experience the unfolding story and relationship between capsuleers and Vanguard warclones.

Will Twitch Drops be available?

Yes! Throughout Operation Avalon, tune in to our official FenrisCreations Twitch channel where you can earn limited-time Twitch Drops for EVE Online, including SKINs like the Algos Sapphire Sungrazer SKIN and the Dragoon Tash-Murkon SKIN, among others. This World Event also coincides with our Summer Guest Streams series where EVE Partners will take over our official channel. Be sure to tune in and support our creators!

Community Beat for 3 July

Community Beat for 3 July

Hello spacefriends and welcome to the Community Beat! You have been up to many cool things in the last couple of weeks so let's turn our spotlight upon some of them!

We're going to start this week's Community Beat with a banger! It's not every day that Alliance Tournament ships get destroyed, but Seira K documented a small gang fight that Honor Point took against Tuskers where they managed to snag a Skua!

Here's the fight recording:

Speaking of Honor Point, deimos24 put out his newest compilation of smallgang fights from the POV of a Nightmare. Gotta love good comms during hectic fights!

Check it out:

If smallgang is your jam, then you won't want to miss Nanobrain's newest Phantasm video. He goes in-depth in explaining his fit and then showcases some phantastic fights while flying with his copilots in Strix Riders.

Definitely worth a watch:

While some express themselves through piloting, others do so in a more literal sense. Murphy3335 posted this simple yet sleek Chimera on the EVE reddit. Drop him a comment if you liked it!

Chimera

If you want more color in your life, Khezuknight posted a collection of EVE Inspired pieces in a different reddit thread. The "UWU Rorqual" might spark another weeb-wars, but who are we to judge!

UWU Rorqual

Last, but certainly not least! Rixx Javix recently created a mindblowingly cool Steampunk Marshall illustration for a JUST bounty. If our capacitors run dry and we have to power every ship with a steampunk engine, then Rixx Javix wil lead the way! Please drop him a comment in the reddit thread if you think this is as cool as we did.

To end this week's Community Beat, we wanted to drop a link to the EVE Fanfest 2026 pictures, as it's our biggest EVE Community gathering. We had such an incredibly fun time hanging out and chatting to those of you who made it, and we're already looking forward to next years FF!

You can find all the pictures here: EVE Fanfest 2026 - EVE Pictures

That about does it for this week's Community Beat!

See you in the next one! o7
