Kreos Pellinan

Kreos Pellinan... a name uttered by a few and only in reference to a memory. Back when the corporations were young, and the universe we are all a part of was still vastly unexplored, a group of miners were doing what they could to make a living.

At the time, the market was volatile, and valuable ores were being vastly undervalued by the larger corporations who, at the time, could afford to undersell the independant miners.

Kreos, like many among him, was angry that a decent living could not be found through the independent grunt work of mining, and thus, an idea was formed.

Kreos and a few others trusted by him formed one of the original corporations, Miners United, giving an open invitation to all independent miners not belonging to the current corporations.

During this volatile time, the ratio of independent miners to corporatized miners was nearly equal, and Miner's United gathered many of them under their cause.

Miner's United's ranks began to swell, offering decent breaks to independant miners. However, competing with the large corporations proved to be difficult, and rampant underpricing drove MU to do something few had expected.

As the underpricing reached it's peak, Miner's United and all its members ceased selling all of their gathered ores and their refined results. Only the largest of corporations were able to continue their operations without a great deal of interruption. (more to come)
