If New Eden kept a list of pilots who absolutely should not have survived their first undock, Rhazien Shardani would be somewhere near the top—right between “guy who tried to mine a sun” and “the pilot who insured a shuttle for profit.”

Born on a station where the air recyclers hummed louder than the people talked, Rhazien grew up believing three things were true:

If something looks dangerous, it probably tastes interesting.

Bees are just tiny spicy friends that want hugs.

Warp drives are suggestions, not rules.

His early years were filled with questionable culinary experiments, including the infamous “Emu Rear-Cut Incident”—a docking bay cookout that resulted in three fines, one airlock evacuation, and a permanent ban from station agriculture imports. To this day, Rhazien insists it was “misunderstood gourmet frontier cuisine.”

After becoming a capsuleer, Rhazien quickly developed a reputation across the cluster as:

The only pilot to accidentally start a bar fight in a wormhole system.

A man who once attempted to negotiate with a swarm of bees in a cargo hold by offering them hugs and positive affirmations.

Someone who fits warp stabilizers on ships that don’t even have warp drives.

Despite—or possibly because of—his unusual habits, Rhazien has survived pirate ambushes, corporate espionage, and one incident involving a mining laser, a karaoke machine, and a crate labeled “DO NOT OPEN: BEES.”

Those who fly with him say Rhazien follows a simple philosophy:

“The universe is big, ships explode, bees deserve hugs, and you should always try weird food at least once.”

No one is entirely sure if he’s a genius, completely unhinged, or some dangerous combination of both.

But if you ever see a ship on d-scan named “The Emu Situation”, it’s probably Rhazien Shardani.

And if you hear buzzing over comms…
it’s already too late.
