[SICHR] The Silent Choir

In the abyss of open space, a ship orbits a cluster of ruins – unbeknownst to the mining drones. The sharp scream of the scanner sounds, alerting this Silent Observer to a swarm of pirate fighters – swooping in for their daily quota of carnage. The distant observer, quiet and collective, aligns her ship on an intercept path with the destined battlefield - not yet a puzzle of debris. Quietly, she increases her speed and readies her payload. As the lead pirate activated his targeting lock, sweat beading on his palms in anticipation for the kill ahead, a streak of immense light blinds him from his target as his shield plummet. An explosion overwhelms the sound humming of hundreds of mining lasers, as the lead pirate ship is removed from existence. The other pirates, who are of no match for the unknown observer, through their ships into a frantic ballet of warp pulses. Saved from the certain death that awaited them, the miner Capsuleer, tilts his wings in appreciation. The quiet watcher, initiates her lock...
